As part of the creative team, you will be a leader as well as a designer, partnering with internal clients. Pitching creative ideas to test is one of your favorite things to do. People see you as a creative thought leader who partners well with both left and right brain types. You love to work on photo shoots and coordinate efforts to produce winning images. You have a solid track record as a people manager and bring out the best in your staff while maintaining hands on project work. Your work will include designing web pages, e-mail, banner ads and catalogs, organizing and running photo shots. Because of your retail experience you have learned practical ways to solve for challenging timeline and budget demands.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing test concepts for web, e-mail, banner ads and catalog

• Designing web pages, e-mail, banner ads and catalog for Provide Commerce brands with a focus on RedEnvelope

• Managing Web Designers and creative freelancers

• Presenting creative work to internal clients and pitching test ideas

• Attending key business planning meetings as needed

• Model selection and contracting

• Working on location shoots

• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent

• 6 or more years experience as a Graphic Designer

• 2 or more years experience managing people

• Retail or e-tail experience required

• DM experience required

• Experience on location shoots

• Experience selecting models and handling model contracts

• Expert Photoshop skills a plus

• Ability to work evenings or weekends 3 – 4 times per year, as assigned

• Must have exceptional client facing skills

• Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
